We are excited to celebrate 10 years of Cat Friendly Practice® (CFP) and share some of our planned celebration activities with you. We invite you to join us in these activities and take advantage of the new materials and celebrations being planned to recognize your achievement in providing the best standards of care for cats.
Coming throughout this year:
Winter 2022
- The official launch of our anniversary celebration! Be sure to tune in to our social media channels to hear your fellow colleagues share why they chose to become a Cat Friendly Practice® and advice/tips on creating a Cat Friendly environment within their practice.
- New marketing materials for you to use in the online Cat Friendly Practice® Toolkit, including special 10 Year anniversary social posts and e-newsletter articles that you can include in your practice newsletters!
Spring/Summer 2022
- A special care package for all current Cat Friendly Practices® mailed directly to your practice as a thank you for your dedication to upholding CFP standards of care.
- The release of a new education program for cat owners designed to create more awareness of Cat Friendly Practices® and their ability to provide a less stressful veterinary experience for everyone.
Fall 2022
- It’s time to party! Be sure to mark your calendars for the 2022 AAFP Annual Conference, October 27-30, 2022 in Pittsburgh, PA where we will host a special celebration event for our CFPs (as well as lots of CE)
- Our inaugural issue of the new AAFP member magazine will include a special article highlighting Cat Friendly Practices®.
Also Coming in 2022:
- Planned release of new guidelines pertaining to veterinary interactions and creating a Cat Friendly environment.
- Distribution of a report that showcases how Cat Friendly Practices® experience fewer injuries among practice members because of the CFP techniques that they employ.
